The housing enabler
The housing enabler is a tool created by Susanne Iwarsson and Bjorn Slaug and is used worldwide by occupational therapists. Partners have been trained in order to use the tool and 100 houses and flats have been screened in Belgium and the NL to use the same tool. Screening methodology

Are our West Flemish houses suitable for ageing in place?

Screening of districts

In France, a study has been done on the whole boulogne district council (22 communes) : it is a diagnostic on the type of housing per neighborhood + portion of seniors in the population per neighborhood in order to plan strategies for the future regarding housing for seniors.
